1 1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup shortening
2 eggs
Dash salt
1 cup mashed bananas
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
4 tablespoons sour milk
1 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350º. Butter and lightly flour a 9-inch cake pan. Cream together
sugar and shortening, add eggs. Stir in mashed bananas, blend. Sift in dry
ingredients. Mix. Add remaining ingredients, blend thoroughly. Pour into cake
pan. Bake for about 45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
