Running/Trekking, Mountain Biking, Kayaking, Road Cycling, Basic Navigation
- Using basic navigation skills, the aim of the challenge (for both teams
and individuals) is to be the first to 'rescue' 50 of the USA's endangered
animals for a series of checkpoints, between sunrise and sunset.
Welcome to the first ever series of the Sunchaser Challenge. A unique and
'green' adventure event to mark US Endangered Species Day. Supporte by the
Endangered Species Coalition with more than 400 member groups representing 15
million Americans.
From sunrise to sunset on May 22, 2010 - as a relay team or with a solo effort -
you can compete with thousands of others to make a difference to wildlife under
threat of extinction. You don't have to be a super athlete, just super
enthusiastic. It's an adventure contest for every level of ability united by one
aim.
