         Camping is popular along the shores of Lake Havasu. On the California side of the Lake, much of the shoreline is part of the Chemehuevi Indian Reservation. One of the only available campsites along the California shore, is the camp at Black Meadow Landing, north of Parker Dam, California.
        On the Arizona side of the lake, there are more campgrounds and RV parks to choose from, including RV parks in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
       Because of Havasu's weather, summer tent camping is popular along Lake Havasu's shoreline and along the river on the Parker strip. During the winter months RV camping is popular with the winter visitors, who sometimes camp overnight in stretches of desert between Lake Havasu City and Havasu Heights, as well as enjoying our parks and sites along the lake.
    Tent, trailer or RV, Lake Havasu and the surrounding area is a popular camping destination.
