           Anderson Auto Group’s golf foursome of Rick Roberts, Mike Roberts, Dave Mowry and Jared Lohrman victory last Friday, May 6 at the Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Outing. The foursome shot a score of 56 to take the title at The Courses at London Bridge, West Course. The team donated their prize money back to the Chamber of Commerce following the awards ceremony.
          Second place went to the Brooks Clark Realty team sponsored by Don Clark; third place winners were the Tri State Rentals Team sponsored by Kevin Stone.
          This year’s tournament featured a “Cheers to America” theme that involved over 22 course volunteers serving the players beverages born in America. A last minute duo from the U.S. Air Force added to the patriotic atmosphere of the event. “The day before the tournament local Air Force Recruiting Officer Jason Libman and recent Air Force Basic Training graduate and Lake Havasu High School graduate Pat McSweeny stopped by our office to see if they could play. We were honored to include them in the tournament as a thank you for serving our country,” said Lisa Krueger, Chamber President/CEO.
          “We were also very touched when the Anderson team gave back their prize money at the awards ceremony. Everyone knows how rough the economy has been on local business lately and the Chamber of Commerce is no exception. We are very grateful for Anderson’s generosity,” she added.
          The event concluded with awards at the Chamber’s monthly Business After Hours Mixer. Both the tournament and mixer were sponsored by ServPro.
