            2000 Lake Havasu High School Alumni, Elizabeth Holmes Mackey,  illustrated and designed a book of poetry, entitled  Motherhood, which is available for sale online.
            Elizabeth graduated, with honors, from the Art Institute in San Diego, California, earning her a Bachelors of Science Degree in Graphic Design. During her high school years at Lake Havasu High School, Elizabeth won several local contests, including one for creating the London Bridge logo (pictured above) which is still used by Lake Havasu City for its annual London Bridge Days.  She is also the designer of Havasu Magazine's logo. 
          Today Elizabeth is a freelance graphic artist. She lives with her husband, Joe, who is in the Coast Guard, and their young daughter, Addison. They are moving to Alaska for three years, where Joe is being reassigned.
