Fright night in Lake Havasu City was a
Halloween tradition that was abandoned in the 1980’s, yet was reborn in
2006, and continued in 2007. Trick’n Treaters moved up and down
McCulloch Blvd, where area businesses gave away Halloween candy.
The crowd numbered in the thousands, and businesses were
encouraged to prepare for 5,000 treats, as many businesses ran out of
candy last year.
Offices at Heirloom
Realty (located at 2150 McCulloch Blvd.) were one of the businesses
handing out candy, for the second year. Office manager Joanne Stedwell
and her husband Bruce got into the holiday spirit, and dressed up and handed
out candy, while the office’s Designated Broker, Don Holmes, and
Heirloom owner and agent, John Stacey, Sr. assisted and enjoyed
socializing with the crowd.
Calvary Baptist Church sponsored the haunted house “Hell House”,
which also delivered a message of heaven and hell.
During the evening Heirloom Realty received a visit from the Cat
in the Hat, who was accompanied by that rascally duo, Thing 1 and Thing
2. Many parents got into the holiday, dressing up with their youngsters
as they made the annual treat trek. Fun was had by all.
Halloween Trick n Treaters filled McCulloch Blvd.
