Havasu Man, Walt Johnson

Havasu Man

We've got sewers overflowing and
the bathrooms need cleaning
trash gets emptied just twice a week.
Walt's fixin' water pipes as fast as he can.
Gotta make a living he's a Havasu Man.
Gotta make a living he's a Havasu Man.

Caroline's washing clothes
and yelling at Mike.
Always telling people little Fritzie won't bite.
Walt takes off and he's flyn' away
Caroline says it's a wonder I'm not gettin grey.
Caroline says it's a wonder I'm not gettin grey.

We got some trailer pads
but we need more.
Try'n to get them in is strictly a bore.
Indians raisin heck about a shack in the back.
If I ever leave here I'm not comin' back.
If I ever leave here I'm not comin' back.

They got a little girl,
her name is Bobbi Ann,
She catches the eye of every young man.
She works in the store all during the day
and then she says Daddy can I have my pay.
and then she says Daddy can I have my pay.

Here stands Tim, a quiet spoken guy
When he's on a water ski he surely can fly.
We got speed boats racin' in the five mile zone.
I'm sittin' here pleadin'

oh please go home!
